With a melodramatic flourish Shy made a full stop at the end of the parchment. Finally her homework was done. Now she had nothing but free time. At least until her next class anyway. Shy wasn’t in the habit of homework and the last hour in the library going through a heap of dusty, dull books had been the longest she could remember. But with her current grades in potions class she had little choice in the matter. And the last thing she wanted was to have remedial potions. Two hours of potions classes was more than enough, adding an extra class on top was unthinkable I’d rather face up against Voldamorts ‘Inner Circle’. Shy thought derisively as she rolled up her parchment and put her quill, ink and homework back in her bag.
With a gentle smile curling the corners of her lips up and lightening her eyes, Shy slid out of her chair and swung her bag onto her shoulder. Picking up the last book she had been using she turned it to look at the spine to see the authors name so she could find where to put it back. “Now where do you go Mr Puty?” she asked the book. It didn’t reply, but that didn’t surprise Shy. If she had been made a potions book she would have been sullen too. She set off along the shelves trying to remember where she had gotten the book from. If she remembered correctly then it had been quite far in, somewhere near the back.

Dante lifted his head from the book that he was reading, entitled How to defend yourself in case of emergency. Like I need it... Dante said to himself and put the book down. It would all come to a moment when it would be only him and Voldemort. The apprentice will follow the master, he rembered Voldemort saying to him one day. But, he would not follow him. He had made a great mistake, and his family paid for it. He wasn't going to make another. At least not that soon.
With N.E.W.T.s that year, Dante surely had not time to spare. Cut off from Voldemort's inner circle, all he had to do was study. Well, Voldemort didn't know that his precious apprentice was about to stage an attack directly at him. He suspected it, for sure, but Dante wasn't afraid. Voldemort had taught him to know no fear.
Dante heard footsteps coming his way. He quickly rose from his seat, wand in hand and stared at the person who was aproaching him.

Shy wandered between the towering bookcases, feeling more than a little lost. These books didn’t look like potions books. They where more like the more advanced defence books. Must have got a little turned around somewhere. It always occurred to Shy quite how big the library was when she was one lone book away from freedom. How pathetic, getting lost in the defence section. Typical. Way to go Shy As she walked she ran her fingers along the spines of the books of her left distractedly. Occasionally she came across a ticklish one that giggled madly under the gentle caress of her fingers. The giggling lightened her mood a little and made her smile. But freedom was beckoning to her and she was eager to answer its call. After a few minuets of searching for a home for the book in her right hand Shy decided that there was nothing else for it. She would swallow some of her pride and ask someone. It was shameful that a sixth year student could still get lost in the school library, but if it meant she could go for a wander in the sunshine then it was a small price to pay.
It seemed that luck was with her as she turned a corner and found a boy sitting at a table. His back was to her so she couldn’t see his features. But it didn’t really matter who he was if he was willing to help her out. “Um. Excuse me. This may sound stupid but…” she didn’t complete her sentence because at that moment the young man got up out of his seat and turned round to face her. She did recognise him. He was a Slytherin, and not just any Slytherin. “Dante.”

"Shy" Dante said. That was unexpected. All he needed now was love. He had feelings for the Gryffindor but it was necessary that he had had to let go of his feelings if he was to fight the Dark Lord. He was taught that love made people weak, and he could feel his defences lowering just as he looked into her eyes. Just being around her again was intoxicating, and all he could do was look into her beautiful eyes.
He tried to escape his momentary oblivious state, and suceeded after a few seconds. "Need any help?" he said
